Why Do Stories Work So Well To Attract, Captivate And Motivate Your Perfect Clients?
In this blog article we are going to help you create and refine three powerful stories that will help you attract and convert your ideal clients. When you develop a brand based on your story, it becomes MEMORABLE and MAGNETIC.

Think of your brand as an identifiable and relatable story explained.

People buy YOU and your STORY, not your products and services.

Master the art of storytelling, share your REAL message with your tribe, and you will have your ideal clients flocking to your door, ready to buy and committed to getting results.

Creating a great story is everything. We all love a good story that we can relate to and get immersed in. If you look at the major news channels… everything is crafted into bite sized infographic stories and soundbites.

Story’s work for a reason. Hundreds of years ago, before video and hard drives, entire generations of lessons were passed down exclusively through the art of storytelling (Ok, some hieroglyphics, btw… :) 

Stories are so universal and well accepted that they can even be converted from verbal into pictures, infographics, logos and even taglines.

A good story will help you sell yourself, your company and any product that you choose.

What to do with this information and your new stories?
The more defined and well rehearsed your stories are, the better you’ll be able to adapt them to given situations you encounter. 

We recommend writing them out and practicing them over and over so you’ll memorize them. The more often you can incorporate a story into your sales copy, webinar presentation, enrollment conversation or offers, the better.
Let’s start with your main Hero’s Journey Story...
The Hero’s Journey story is one of deep challenge and triumph. When you can tell it right, it will give people a clear snapshot of your challenging journey and how you made it out the other side. This should be an inspirational story of great emotion and authenticity.

Let’s begin here by hand crafting the individual components of your Hero’s Arc!
What main thing (or struggle, or challenge) started you out on your path of discovery and breakthrough of becoming a salesperson, a leader, a coach, a consultant or an entrepreneur? 
What was your greatest struggle on your Hero’s journey (the pit or lowest point) as it relates to your area of expertise or life?
How did you make it out of your lowest point in your journey and can you describe the turning point when it happened? Be descriptive and take me there in the first person. For example, tell your story in these words… “I was standing there, sweating, wondering if anyone else could tell that I was barely holding on, and then it happened…” Ok? From the first person perspective.
Does your Hero’s Journey story relate to your accomplishments, topics of expertise, services or products? If so, how can you weave those into your story and parallel those valuable lessons and discoveries that led to your triumph. 

These will be the same things other people will relate to and picture for themselves when you tell it. Remember, your story may likely have a few different levels of breakthrough and triumph. For example, you may experience a physical breakthrough as well as an emotional and a spiritual one.
Throughout this process of adaptation, improvisation and triumph, were you able to document or assemble a simpler process for others to use so they can better circumnavigate your struggles or pitfalls? If so, explain what that process is in a sentence or two. For example: My journey helped me create the X Process that others can use to avoid years of pain and struggle in their plumbing business.
Ok, great work so far, let’s keep going with your Hero’s Journey story creation.
Ok, fantastic and great work. On this next section, you can combine all of these elements together and write your complete Hero’s Journey story. You may need an additional sheet of paper to capture the entire story, but get started here in the lines provided. You may also want to record an audio version of you telling this story so you can go back and reedit it after hearing it.

Let’s create the components of your Brand Story...
The Brand Story is great way to connect with the right audience and bring them into your mission, vision and company. People connect with a brand because of the way it makes them feel. They’ll relate to it for one reason or another as something they’ve also experienced or want to experience.

Over the next few pages we’ll create small segments to help you compose your main Brand Story. As a guiding reminder, we will be answering the question in your consumers mind of “Who are you (your brand, company or product) and why should I care?”

Let’s start out with that specific question, but we’ll answer it with a visual representation first.
